The next frontier in medicine: the da Vinci Xi® Surgical System
Co-hosted by the Health Tech Forum and the Autonomous Systems Forum
The robotic surgical system is optimized for highly complex, multi quadrant surgery by a surgeon using interactive robotic arms with revolutionary anatomical access and crystal clear 3D HD vision. Dr. Danielle Giesler, a colorectal surgeon that uses the da Vinci Xi® Surgical System at Methodist Richardson will discuss and demonstrate this amazing system. Following the presentation, guests will have the opportunity to test the system for themselves. Come explore the next frontier for minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Danielle Giesler has had extensive experience with the da Vinci® Robotic System and she plans to keep this in her armamentarium to treat colorectal disease. She also specializes in screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic colonoscopies, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, anorectal disease, and other conditions. Known for her compassion and patient satisfaction, she is working to fulfill the need for a colon and rectal specialist in Richardson.
Dr. Gielser completed her surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, followed by completion of her colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. During her fellowship, she received a broad spectrum of training including minimally invasive techniques making her an advanced laparoscopic surgeon.
