Upcoming events offer the perfect time to connect

Tech Titans is about to kick of a variety of programs and activities that will certainly give everyone the opportunity to connect with members and potential customers.
 
The fun starts with an exhilarating panel discussion at the Cybersecurity Forum’s Quarterly speaker series at the Collins Center of the campus of SMU. A deep-dive discussion around the topic “I am from the government and I am here to help” will feature Regan Edens of DTC Global, Alex Rivera of Microsoft and Will Long of Infinity Cyber Advisors. The panel will be moderated by Andy Ulrich, a Cybersecurity Forum Tri-chair and Head of Security for Ericsson. The program begins at 11:30. The Quarterly Tech Industry Luncheon will certainly be a must-see event when three renowned AI experts talk about the future impact of AI. Dave Copps of Worlds, Skip Howard of SPACEE, and Mark Austin of AT&T will explore the impact of AI, the strategic integration of AI as infrastructure, and ethical considerations in AI development. Steve O’Neal of Capsher Technology and the lead tri-chair of the Tech Titans AI Forum will moderate the panel discussion.  The luncheon gets underway at 11:30 at Prestonwood Country Club in Dallas. On April 25, is time for some pure networking at the Member Connections Happy Hour hosted by HumCap. Come between 5 – 7 to meet the Executive Committee, Board, Committees and staff to get connected to a mentor to help get involved in Tech Titans. There is no cost to attend the Member Connections. Spring means golf for North Texas golfers and they will certainly want to play in the Annual Tech Titans Golf Tournament at the prestigious Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney on May 21. Sponsored by Baker Tilly, the tournament attracts over 120 players who will try their hand at a number of on-course games including the opportunity to shoot a tee shot over 400 yards with an air cannon. The tournament helps Tech Titans fuel future STEM stars and engage the tech community. Tee time is 11:30. Information and registration can be found on the golf page of the website.
 
The Artificial Intelligence Forum will host its first program on May 30 on how GEN AI is impacting business. More details about the speakers will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
 
All of these programs and much more help generate opportunities to network with peers in the tech industry, meet new friends and engage members all the while supporting the growth of the region’s tech industry.
