Mark Austin, Ph.D., VP, Data Science, AT&T Chief Data OfficeDr. Austin currently manages a team of ~300 Data Science and developers in the Chief Data Office applying Gen AI, Data Science, machine learning and automation with applications across many areas of the company such as Fraud, Field Operations, Consumer, Security, Supply Chain, and Corporate functions. His team has recently launched a GenAI platform across AT&T, and historically have developed innovative solutions for the large scale routing problems, implemented closed loop AI classification systems and recommendation engines, operationalized computer vision, and improved process and people productivity by deploying an operating >3,000 BOTS company-wide. With 29 years of experience, Austin has also held a variety of leadership and staff roles in running technology planning operations across South Florida, Puerto Rico and the Southeast. Dr. Austin has chaired various industry technical standards committees, is the co-author on 5 books, has published more than 20 reviewed technical papers, been granted over 100 patents, and is on a number of advisory boards in academia. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland (summa cum laude), a doctor of philosophy degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and is the recipient of the Sigma Xi Thesis Award for his research on various topics related to optimizing cellular systems. He enjoys running, cycling and boating and is based in Plano, Texas.
Dave Copps, Entrepreneur / CEO / Investor
Dave is known internationally as a technologist and visionary on the role that deep tech will play in transforming markets and the world. Dave has founded, launched, and sold two Al companies that have placed machine learning and artificial intelligence in thousands of companies worldwide. He was recently awarded EY's Entrepreneur of the Year for the Central Plains Region, and while serving as CEO of his previous company Brainspace, he was recognized as Emerging Company CEO of the Year in Texas. Dave currently serves as CEO of Worlds, where he leads the company in delivering AI-based automation to the world's largest industrial companies. He received his BA from the University of North Texas. Dave is an invited member of the Aspen Institute's Roundtable on Al, the XPRIZE Visioneering Board, a Capital Factory Partner, and a frequent speaker at conferences, universities, and incubators worldwide.
Skip Howard, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Spacee Inc.
Early on in Spacee’s company history, Skip was instrumental in the development and project management of the Spacee virtual touch technology making it one of the leading technology companies in the spatial augmented reality sector.
Spacee’s technology can turn two- or three-dimensional surfaces into a touchscreen using only light. No phones, tablets, glasses, or any other wearables are necessary. After firmly establishing Spacee as an industry leader, Skip led the company’s expansion of its second branch, Deming Robotics. The Deming Robotics system is the next generation smart shelf technology providing a fully automated IOT inventory solution for the supply chain management business sector.
Skip is listed as an inventor and co-inventor on several patents belonging to Spacee. Skip also founded and currently runs the second-largest Computer Vision Developers group in the United States. Before Spacee, Skip built the media department for a Ross Perot Jr.’s Company. Spacee is Skip’s third startup. He was a founder of a successful student safety software company and co-founder of a hereditary cancer risk assessment software company. In 2019, Skip was a finalist for E&Y’s Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2019 and 2020, he was named one of the most powerful business leaders in DFW by D Magazine.

Steve O'Neal, Head of Account Management, Capsher TechnologySteve has 25 years of experience working with small and large companies resolving complex technology problems. He was responsible for restoring critical infrastructure business systems following disasters in the early 2000's and prior to that, Steve served in the USMC for seven
years as a cryptologic Arabic linguist in signals intelligence. In his current role, at Capsher Technology, he oversees major accounts for clients who need custom software applications across multiple cloud platforms, coding languages, and frameworks and helps customers
navigate when and where AI can achieve business success. Steve serves as Chief of the FBI Infragard Bryan/College Station CSC, Lead Tri-Chair of the Tech Titans AI Forum, and Commodore of the Brazos Sailing Club.
