Tech Titans events have something for everyone this fall

Forum events, luncheons, half-day workshops, networking events and the annual Tech Titans Awards highlight a full schedule of events beginning in August that will help reshape the North Texas tech industry and will appeal to wide audiences.

The schedule kicks off with two outstanding presentations by Tech Titans Forums.

The Artificial Intelligence Forum will mark the first event with a deep dive discussion on “Who is training your data-a case study using healthcare” on August 14 at Pegasus Park.  That will be followed on August 21 when the Cybersecurity Forum hosts a panel discussion on “the intersection of software and the supply chain” at Frances Moody Hall on the SMU Campus.  Both events run from 3:30 – 5:30 on their respective dates.

The highlight of the month of August will be the Annual Leaders in Innovation Luncheon on August 22 at Prestonwood Country Club. Part of the Tech Industry Luncheon Series, the Innovation Luncheon features the finalists in the Tech Titans Emerging Company and Corporate Innovation award categories. Find out the latest innovations these companies are using that earned them the distinction of being a Tech Titans Awards Finalist.

The month concludes with two great networking evens. The Coffee & Conversation networking event will be at FlexEtc in Plano on August 26, 8 – 9 am. The Quarterly Member Connections moves to CornerStone Staffing in Coppell on August 28, 5 – 7 pm.

The biggest event of the year, the Annual Tech Titans Awards, will recognize the finalists and announce winners in 14 award categories in an Oscar-style evening presented by the University of Texas at Dallas. The awards take place at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Dallas Frisco at Stonebriar Mall from 5 – 9 pm.

Three blockbuster events follow the Tech Titans Awards. The first will be the inaugural Tech Titans Startup Summit on October 16 at Dallas College from 1 – 5 pm. This half day workshop will bring together innovative startups, entrepreneurs and investors to provide them with the tools that ensure success for any size startup company. The summit will be headlined by Doug Moore of Turbo Start who will address the challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurs today. The keynote will be followed by two educational tracks of five sessions, each providing important information on running a startup company.

The Tech Industry Luncheon on October 14 will present a panel of CIOs that will discuss ”the future of the CIO/CTO in an AI native world.”  The last TIL of the year will be on November 14 on a topic that will be announced at the October luncheon.

Then, the two Tech Titans Forums team up to present another half day workshop on November 6 from 1 – 5 that will feature keynote presentations and two tracks of educational sessions that explore the fascinating world of how cyber and AI are linked together.
