Tech Titans Announces Paul Voelker as 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree

DALLAS – August 10, 2026 – Tech Titans, the leading association serving the North Texas technology community, has announced it will honor Paul Voelker, former Mayor of Richardson and Senior Regional Manager for Export Development Canada, as the organization’s 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award honoree. He will be recognized at the 2026 Tech Titans Awards Gala on Aug. 28.

“Paul Voelker’s impact on North Texas extends far beyond any single role or accomplishment,” said Wendi Wilburn, President and CEO of Tech Titans. “For more than three decades, he has helped advance the region’s technology community through industry leadership, civic service and a steadfast commitment to Richardson’s growth and success. His unique ability to bridge technology, business and public service has left a lasting legacy on North Texas and makes him a deserving of this honor.”

Voelker's career spans more than 30 years in the technology industry and public service. A longtime business leader in Richardson, he serves as a Senior Regional Manager for Export Development Canada and as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TrenData Inc. Voelker’s career began with HP and lasted almost 29 years with his last position as Director of Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management and Corporate Development. He then served in similar roles with Ericsson, G2G3 Digital and Lone Star Analysis.

Voelker first joined the Richardson City Council in 2013 and later served as mayor from 2015 to 2023. During his tenure, he helped guide one of the nation’s most prominent technology communities through a period of significant economic growth and development. 

Voelker is on the advisory board for Connect 5G, Inc., and has served as the president of the Metroplex Mayors Association, chairman of the Board for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, member of the executive board of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), and numerous other positions during his career. While leading the Richardson Chamber, he also served as an ex officio member of the board of the Metroplex Technology Business Council, which was renamed Tech Titans.

Voelker is a graduate of William Penn University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
