Tech Titans Announces Nina Vaca as 2026 Hall of Fame Honoree

Tech Titans, the leading association serving the North Texas technology community, has announced it will induct Nina Vaca, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Group, into the organization’s Hall of Fame. Vaca founded Pinnacle Group in 1996 and has grown the company into one of North America’s largest Hispanic-owned workforce solutions companies, serving more than 20 percent of the Fortune 100. She will be recognized at the 2026 Tech Titans Awards Gala on Aug. 28.

“Nina Vaca is one of North Texas’ most successful entrepreneurs and an influential leader who has helped shape the region’s technology and business community,” said Wendi Wilburn, President and CEO of Tech Titans. “Through her vision and determination, she transformed Pinnacle Group from a startup IT services firm into a global workforce solutions powerhouse. Beyond her business accomplishments, Nina has dedicated herself to creating opportunities for others through mentorship, civic leadership, philanthropy and advocacy for entrepreneurship. She embodies the innovation, leadership and community impact that the Tech Titans Hall of Fame was created to recognize.”

In 2024, Pinnacle Group launched its PTR Global brand for talent solutions and was ranked among the top 30 largest IT staffing providers by industry analysts.

Under Vaca’s leadership, Pinnacle Group has received numerous awards and recognitions over the years. The company was named to the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing companies 13 times and the Women Presidents Organization named it the fastest-growing woman-owned/led company in the country twice. Most recently, Newsweek named Pinnacle Group one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in four separate categories, including overall, as well as for diversity and for women.

Vaca’s success was also recognized through her receipt of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year and Goldman Sachs Most Intriguing Entrepreneur awards. She was also inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame and named a Trailblazing Woman in Labor and Business by the Women’s History Project.

Vaca is also a committed civic leader and philanthropist. In 2014, she was appointed by the White House as one of the inaugural Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE), traveling to five continents uplifting individuals, families, and communities. She is currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence for the City of Dallas, appointed by Mayor Eric Johnson.

While completing a Henry Crown Fellowship at the Aspen Institute, Vaca helped build a village for earthquake survivors in Ecuador. Today, she serves on the Aspen Latinos in Society Advisory Board, contributing her expertise to elevate Latino leadership on a global scale.

Additionally, Vaca is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a fellow of the German Marshall Fund, and founder of At the Table, an initiative focused on advancing women in business and leadership. She also helped launch the Startup America Partnership to support entrepreneurs nationwide and has mentored women business owners through Peace Through Business, reflecting her longstanding commitment to leadership development, economic opportunity, and global engagement.

She is a distinguished alumna of Texas State University and recently established the Nina Vaca Innovation & Entrepreneurship Endowment. A lifelong learner, she completed the Corporate Governance Executive Program at Harvard University and has received honorary doctorates from Northwood University, Mount Mary University, and Berkeley College.
