Tech Industry Luncheon - Jan 26
Description
Blockchain: Creating a chainscript, a new kind of resume suited to power a global knowledge economy
Featuring Phil Komarny, Vice President, Innovation for Salesforce.com, and former Chief Digital Officer for The University of Texas System
As we have been taught to measure of our 'selves' as healthy, wealthy and wise in the analog world, we now can do the same in the digital world because of technologies like the block chain. Transcript + Block chain = Chainscript, credentials for a mobile world, where learning increasingly occurs when and where the opportunity presents itself. It all revolves around the concept of a digital 'self'. The decentralization effect that the block chain affords enables us to craft a new meaning around the agency and security of data. Personal data...your data...a 'DigiMi'.
