"Getting started with industrial IoT- a fortune 10 case study"
Featuring, Pieter van Schalkwyk, XMPro Founder & CEO
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is likely to be 50% of the $300B IoT market predicted by Gartner. Most industrial organizations already collect large volumes of data, but few fully leverage it at the moment. The challenge often faced is that the ROI of IIoT is yet to be proven for many organizations. This session will look how organizations can lower the risk of IIoT projects by addressing it from the business problem, and is based on our experience in implementing an IIoT solution for a Fortune 10 Oil & Gas organization that realized $8m Lean Six Sigma savings after 6 months. It is a practical approach for those who are looking to get started with IoT in their own organizations.
