Over the last decade, IT and communication technologies have enabled electric utilities to gather significantly more information than in previous periods. This has enabled expansion of automations systems and integrations between them, provided multiple analytic opportunities, and caused an blurry line between traditional Information Technology and Operations Technology. This talk will cover this transition and what the future hold in this area.
