“Driving innovation in retail with IoT”
Featuring Scott Emmons, Head of Innovation Lab, Neiman Marcus
This session will include an overview of the Neiman Marcus Innovation Lab and how technology projects are vetted and delivered. We will look at our Beacon and Theatro communicator Projects to frame a discussion around IOT in retail innovation. Discussion will include new opportunities and challenges IOT brings to the table. Chris Todd, CEO of Theatro will be joining in this conversation.
About the speaker:
Scott Emmons is focused on innovation for the Neiman Marcus Group (NMG). He founded and built the innovation lab (iLab) in 2012. Scott is responsible for leading NMG in evaluating, designing, testing and piloting cutting-edge technologies and applications for luxury retail. Scott is also working on BYOD initiatives, Wi-Fi/LAN/WAN infrastructure, mobility and digital signage initiatives. Innovation projects include the Memomi Memory Mirror, 4K touch table look books, beacon enabled holiday passes, intelligent mobile phone charging stations and digital directories for Bergdorf Goodman.
