Technology radically transforms opioid withdrawal with a drug-free, wearable solution
featuring Daniel Powell, president & CEO, Spark Biomedical
11 million people face opioid addiction in America, and it has only gotten worse since the start of the pandemic, with at least 30 states reporting an increase in opioid fatalities. This is an epidemic itself in critical need of a solution. Texas-based Spark Biomedical has developed the Sparrow Therapy System™ - the first FDA-cleared personalized, wearable solution for opioid withdrawal backed by evidence. It is also the company behind the Roo System for neonates facing opioid withdrawal, which was granted Breakthrough Device Designation by the FDA this past September. Join us for an inside look at Spark Biomedical, which recently closed a $4.5M funding round following its FDA clearance.
