Important blockchain developments affecting traditional banking have been occurring outside of public view. This Tech Titans Forum will discuss how blockchain is being used to send payments globally and to streamline interbank processes for syndicated loans. We'll also learn about central bank currencies and the integration of digital currencies into traditional payment systems.
JC Jollant, based in Texas, brings over 25 years of financial technology innovations across software vendors and institutional banks to Finastra. Prior to his position as Senior Product Manager with Finastra, Mr. Jollant was founder and Chief Technology Officer of SeenApp a software solutions provider for qualitative e-trading monitoring. Prior to SeenApp Mr. Jollant was Managing Director for Greenline in London, where he was running the European region from a business and project management perspective. Prior to S-ETS, Mr. Jollant was CEO of Ullink Inc. US, a Paris-based software provider, where he grew a nascent New York office into a stand-alone, business-servicing global customers, including mostly large sell-side institutions. Before Ullink, Mr. Jollant was vice president, e-Trading manager at JPMorgan Chase. There, he led a team of developers, project managers and client service personnel to deliver real-time trading environments to JPMorgan traders worldwide. Mr. Jollant holds a degree in Software Engineering from EPITA (Ecole Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancees), one of the leading French Grandes Ecoles in the field of computer science and software engineering.
Richard Meszaros Rich Meszaros is a managing director in Accenture Digital and is the global lead of Industry X.0 Digital Transactions. The Digital Transactions practice focuses on designing, enabling and optimizing transactional processes to support the highly connected systems and a fully digital value chain associated with Industry X.0 and IIoT.
Eric Smith is a software industry veteran with over 25 years of startup experience. As Founder and CEO of AppBrilliance, he drives the company's strategic business and technology vision and is the principle architect and inventor of the company's patented technologies that address critical gaps in integrating crypto currencies and assets into the fiat economy. In his career, Eric has been responsible for many strategic relationships with companies like eBay, Inc., VeriSign, Nuance Corporation, Q2eBanking.
Saniha Aziz serves as an Outreach Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and works to cultivate relationships and drive engagement primarily in the 11th district financial sector. These relationships support the amplification of Dallas Fed research by facilitating dialogue with bank and credit union leaders about the economy and monetary policy.
Saniha recently graduated from Southern Methodist University with majors in both Finance and Journalism. During her time at SMU, she held many leadership roles within student media including experience as Creative Director of SMU's fashion and lifestyle magazine SMU LOOK, and as Anchor, Producer and Director of the daily news show The Daily Update.
