About the speakers:
Seemit Sheth is a Senior Director and Head of Data Science for a multi-billion dollar Capital One Home Loans business. He has been with Capital One for 16 years and has led Data Science teams across the entire spectrum of its lending business. Over the years, Seemit has developed several industry leading Data Science and Experimental Design products and has been twice awarded Capital One's highest Circle of Excellence award from its CEO. Prior to joining Capital One, Seemit worked as a Research Biostatistician at the Eastern Virginia Medical School for one year.
Jeff Rosenfeld is currently vice president of customer insight and analytics for The Neiman Marcus Group. He has more than 16 years of experience in advanced analytics and customer insight with a focus in retail business-to-consumer marketing. He has expertise in customer segmentation, media mix attribution, statistical modeling, targeted marketing, experimental design, data mining, web analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, market research, big data, and leading large analytics teams. Jeff has gained industry and corporate recognition for his innovation in the analytics space, including for cross-device media attribution and probabilistic identity graphs. Jeff has been a guest speaker at several conferences and panels throughout the country talking about topics such a digital media ROI, text mining, market research online communities, and personalization.
Abhishek Goel, SVP Data Solutions at Citi, is an agile analytics and data science leader with over 15 years of experience in developing innovative solutions across customer lifecycle. Successfully bootstrapped analytics practice and multiplied revenue for multiple business units as part of Big 4, global financial services and fintech companies. He has experience working and providing consulting and strategy services to C-Level executives of global financial institutions.
Adam Gaspar is currently AVP of Market Research and Analytics at AT&T. With over 20 years of experience covering big data, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, wireless operations and finance, Adam's background gives him a unique perspective from several different vantage points. His current role is focusing on evolving AT&T's B2B analytics team that includes internal analytics as well as analytics as a service for external partners. Part of his role includes taking complex data analytics and distilling them into actionable insights that can be consumed by the most senior of leaders to elicit change.
Rob Schneider is currently Creative Director of the Dallas Business Journal. He was previously Presentation Director for The Dallas Morning News. He has led successful redesigns of the DMN, The Providence Journal and various other print and digital proudcts. Previously, he was an editor, designer, writer, photographer, copy editor and sports editor for newspapers in Missouri and Nebraska. His work has been awarded by The Society for News Design, Malofiej, Communication Arts, Illustrator's Annual, PRINT magazine and other state and regional journalism competitions. Rob is past president for The Society of News Design and has been a regular volunteer since 1997. He's served as speaker at six SND annual workshops and has twice been a judge at SND's creative competition. Rob has organized and hosted several SND Quick Courses in Texas and has been a featured speaker for SND and other organizations at events around the country.
Randy Krum is an infographics and data visualization designer, and the founder and president of InfoNewt, a data visualization and infographics design company. In 2007, he started the Cool Infographics blog as a hobby (www.coolinfographics.com), which has since grown into one of the world's most popular websites focused on infographics. The success of his blog led to publishing one of the industry's best books: Cool Infographics: Effective Communication with Data Visualization and Design written for anyone who wants to learn about creating and using infographics and data visualizations more effectively. Before Randy entererd the world of infographics and data visualization he was the leader of product development, product marketing and marketing communications groups within a variety of consumer products companies with a focus on innovation, consumer research, product launches, brand development, awareness marketing, category management and intellecutal property.
