Thanks to our sponsors for another outstanding golf tournament

Tech Titans wishes to thank the sponsors of the 19^th Annual Golf Tournament held on April 30 at the Clubs of Prestonwood – The Hills in Plano.

Pillar Sponsors were Baker Tilly, The Principal and VACO. They were joined by Scorecard Sponsor, GigaPower; Putting Contest Sponsor, Motion Recruitment; Golf Cart Sponsor, Frost Bank; and Bar Sponsor, GCATS.

There were seven hole sponsors at this year’s tournament: Capsher Technology; Carstens, Allen and Gourley; Comcast Business; Odyssey Information Services; RESPEC, Robert Half and Trinitix.

 A very special thanks goes to Chiloso’s for providing breakfast tacos for the players and sponsors prior to the start of the tournament.

“These great sponsors are among the reasons the tournament continues to be so popular among our members and guests,” said Tournament Co-Chair Steve Flad of SilverXis. “On behalf of the Tournament Committee and Tech Titans, I want to express our appreciation to everyone especially our sponsors, who played a role in making this year’s tournament another tremendous success.”

Over 108 golfers joined numerous sponsors and volunteers at this year’s tournament. Players were greeted on the course by fun and games hosted by the hole sponsors. The putting contest raised money for the Tech Titans Foundation, which funds the Tech Titans STEM Initiative. The tournament also raised money for the foundation at the awards dinner following play with the first-ever auction for foursomes at three of the state’s most prestigious golf courses.

Three golf teams walked away with top honors at the tournament:
First Place – Serge Litvin, Bob Hill, Mark Davenport, Gates Lopez
second Place – Wayne Lynch, Ben Wetstone, Ben Pyle, Steve Reynolds
Third Place – Brendan Johnson, Lane Weitz, Philip Adams, Brady BellEach team won a gift certificate to The Hills pro shop.
