Tech Titans Foundation to participate in North Texas Giving Day

The Tech Titans Foundation will once again be one of many non-profit organizations participating in the annual North Texas Giving Day in 2025. Scheduled for September 18, North Texas Giving Day provides donors with an easy way to contribute to their favorite cause.

This year’s North Texas Giving Day culminates on Thursday, September 18 but donors who want to contribute early may give through the North Texas Giving Day website will open on Thursday, August 28th.
Those attending the 2025 Tech Titans Awards will also have the opportunity to make a contribution during the presentation of the awards on September 12th.

You can make a difference in the life of a middle or high school student by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Tech Titans Foundation. A contribution to the foundation provides the financial resources to pay for the Tech Titans STEM program, which introduces STEM-related educational classes to students and encourages them to consider STEM careers after graduation.

The STEM program is Tech Titans commitment to build the workforce of tomorrow that in turn builds a thriving tech ecosystem in North Texas. By making a contribution you help Tech Titans inspire future innovators, foster collaboration and empower the workforce of tomorrow through cutting-edge education and development programs.

The program in its current format has been able to connect students in six partnering school districts with the exciting world of technology and sparking future innovation in North Texas. The program engages approximately 6,000 students annually and during the last school year achieved the milestone of engaging 20,000 students since the program started ten years ago.

A team of STEM volunteers comprised by representatives of Tech Titans members work with the school districts to plan curriculums that are then taught in the classroom. Key industry partners such as Ericson, Qorvo, and State Farm have provided vital support in the form of mentorship, resources, and hands-on opportunities.

“What makes our partnerships truly different is how we leverage the unique power of the entire Tech Titans network – connecting industry, academia, and community organizations in a deeply integrated ecosystem,” said STEM Director Reme Miah.

The program works closely with the University of Texas at Dallas in academic partnerships on programs that teach the students such exciting tasks as how to build robots.

Now in its 17th year, NorthTexasGivingDay.org continues to expand as a one-stop shop for supporting our local community every day of the year through cause campaigns, matching fundraisers, group giving events, and nonprofit-led fundraising efforts.

Thanks to help from generous givers and sponsors, Communities Foundation of Texas covers all transaction and technology fees, ensuring 100% of each donation made on the site goes to nonprofits in more than 25 cause areas across 20 North Texas counties, all year long. In 2024, the program connected over 3,200 local nonprofits with givers, raising more than $70 million.
