Tech Titans recap shows 2025 a year of successful programs
This past year marked another successful year for Tech Titans members to engage and connect through events and programs that provided members with cutting-edge discussions and programs content, superb opportunities to connect and improve opportunities to do business, exchange insights and discuss technology-based solutions that address real-world issues.
The Tech Titans STEM Team expanded the STEM outreach footprint by adding Farmersville, Irving and Dallas ISDs to our network of supporting districts: Wylie, Richardson, Plano, and Lewisville. With the new partnerships, Tech Titans now serves a broader and more diverse student population across North Texas, strengthening our regional impact and deepening Tech Titan’s ability to inspire future innovators.
This past fall 78 Tech Titans volunteers produced 13 events that inspired 1,605 students over 68 hours of work.
The Innovation Team produces a successful Tech Titans Startup Summit on October 16th at Dallas College that provided education tracks designed to assist entrepreneurs with improving every facet of their operation from how to apply for funding to legal challenges of starting a company.
The Programs Team produced 7 Tech Industry Luncheons highlighted by the Annual Innovators Luncheon featuring Tech Titans Awards finalists and by a presentation by former CEO/Founder of GlobeRanger and Tech Titans Hall of Fame member, George Brody. In between, the Tech Industry Luncheons featured panels on the economy, the role of the CIO in an AI world, and how AI is changing the entertainment industry.
The Artificial Intelligence Forum produced four outstanding events ranging in discussion of how agentic AI is going to change business operations to how AI is changing the biotech and healthcare industries. The Cybersecurity Forum produced quarterly programs that ranged from the intersection of software and the supply chain, cybersecurity education and training opportunities and the state of cybersecurity.
The two forums collaborated on a highly successful program on November 6 that featured keynote presentations and roundtable discussions on “building the future of digital trust.”
The board of directors approved the creation of the Quantum Technology Forum that will begin to produce programs in 2026 related to how quantum will shape the future of technology.
Tech Titans monitored legislation that was passed by the Texas Legislature and became law that created the Texas Quantum Initiative designed to position Texas as a leader quantum technology. Tech Titans also monitored legislation that created the Texas Responsible Artificial Intelligence Governance Act, whose goal is to balance innovation, consumer protection and ethical treatment in the deployment of Artificial Intelligence.
The highlight of the year was the 25th annual Tech Titans Awards, a gala celebration of achievement and excellence in the North Texas technology industry. Over 420 people were on hand to view the presentation of 13 awards to individuals and companies for the innovation solutions they are developing that are solving real-world challenges. The presenting sponsor of this year’s awards was the University of Texas at Dallas.
As the year comes to a close, the success of these programs underscores the role that Tech Titans members play by serving on the committees and teams that produce these events. The goal is to bring members together and collectively promote the North Texas tech industry.
Looking ahead, the focus will remain on expanding these collaborative platforms, deepening partnerships, and continuing to create environments where companies can thrive together and continue to grow the tech community. With a strong foundation in place, enthusiastic and dedicated members, and the continued growth of technology in the region. the coming year promises even greater opportunities to connect, innovate, and succeed—together.
