International Robotics Competition set for Dallas

The 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship, billed as the largest robotics competition in the world, is coming to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, May 6 - 14. The competition brings thousands of high school, middle school and elementary school students from around the world to compete and celebrate their accomplishments through challenging robotics competitions.
 
The Vex V5 Robotics competition featuring high school students takes place on May 6 – 8. The Middle School, Junior ROTC and College Robotic teams VEX V5 competition will take place May 9 -11. VEX IQ Robotics Competition for elementary and middle school students round out the championship on May 12-14. Awards celebrating achievements in design, programming, teamwork and innovation will be presented to teams in each category of competition.
 
The VEX Robotics competition prepares students to become future innovators with 95% of participants reporting an increased interest in STEM subject areas and pursuing STEM-related careers. These programs offer a direct response to workforce and industry needs with participants more likely to consider studying STEM beyond high school.
