Deborah Sawyer named board member of the year

Tech Titans has named Deborah Sawyer its Board Member of the Year of 2015. Despite a busy career in the executive search industry, Deborah served in dual capacities as the of the Programs Team that produces Tech Industry Luncheons and as chair of the Tech Titans Awards Gala Nominations Committee. While instrumental is producing Tech Industry Luncheons in 2015, her work as the chair of the gala nominations committee stands out. She re-organized the committee, resulting in more volunteer engagement in the organization. Through their collective work, the gala nominations exceeded previous years’ totals and set a new record of 128 nominations.
Deborah is vice president of the technology practice at Pearson Partners International, Inc. Her role there is to help medium to large public technology and media companies find new leaders, including chief executive officers, presidents, chief operating officers, chief technology officers and other technology executives. She advises and directs clients on how to win the on-going war for talent.
Deborah is a seasoned professional with international presence. She has led several major global client relationships and worked throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including greater China, Japan, Korea and Singapore, where she lived for six years. Her international executive search experience also includes assignments in London, Paris, Montreal and Toronto, as well as throughout the United States. She has been widely quoted on executive and talent matters in national and regional media including The Straits Times, The Business Times, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal and The Atlanta Business Chronicle. Formerly, she was a co-host on WGKA 920 AM's highly rated radio talk show, The Career Doctors. While in Singapore, she was a regular speaker at The American Chamber of Commerce Singapore, The American Association of Singapore, The Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, The National Sales and Marketing Congress, Contact Singapore and The Athena Network Singapore.
