From inventions like the pacemaker to the space shuttle retriever arm and hundreds more, African American inventors have made a name for themselves over the decades. Yet, only 7.4% of high tech workers in the U.S are African-American according to a report by the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Three African-American CIOs will discuss the increasing role of African Americans in technology while telling their stories of how they achieved such a high level of success during Tech Titans salute to Black History Month.
