Description
Artificial intelligence: The promise, threat and legal implications of machines that learn
Featuring Robert W. Kantner, Partner, Jones Day, and Dave Copps, Founder and CEO, Brainspace
The proliferation of artificial intelligence has been dramatic and exponential. AI is an apex technology that is driving transformational changes in virtually every industry, most visibly in areas like autonomous cars, healthcare and genetics, and technology. As we begin to put more trust in AI and automation we will be forced to consider the risks and legal issues that arise from within this revolution.

He has also tried two copyright cases involving software, electronic payment, genetic test, oil and gas exploration, and petrochemical distillation technologies. Bob has represented clients from China, France, Germany, South Korea, and Taiwan, and has handled cases in federal and state courts throughout Texas.
