Featuring Gloria Tenofsky, Development Manager, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation - MMRF
Artificial intelligence combined with business analytics have major implications for the next generation of cancer treatment. Advancement in individualized treatment options, acceleration of clinical studies and high-quality data generation is bringing technology to medicine and changing the way cancer research is conducted. Learn how the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation has sequenced the myeloma genome and built a robust data bank that makes it possible for the global research community to work as one. Hear how the use of technology to develop their innovative model of precision medicine is leading the way for other cancer research.
Gloria Tenofsky has been with the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation for three years, as a member of the development team. She works closely with supporters and patients, sharing the latest information from the MMRF clinical trials, drug approvals, and insights from the MMRF CoMMpass study. She also partners with the marketing team to make sure donors are provided with the latest developments in multiple myeloma, investor impact reports and planned giving newsletters. Gloria earned a BS from Syracuse University and an MBA from Columbia University. After a long career in marketing/advertising followed by a transition to non-profit, running a local education foundation, Gloria joined the MMRF to make an even bigger impact. "Everything I do is driven by the fact that patients' lives are at stake. To drive treatments to the clinic requires funding. Our CoMMpass study alone is a $50 million investment. I am laser focused on optimizing revenue streams to keep these projects moving forward."
