Description
Moving your products in this time of crisis - Many businesses are still required to move freight during the COVID-19 outbreak. Whether bringing in materials to their business or sending products out, both within and outside the USA. While many businesses may have suspended their production, longer lead times require supply chains to continue moving.
So what should you consider in these uncertain times? Pricing, availability of cargo space, types of shipments [air, ground (if appropriate), ocean freight], delivery speed, shipment sizes--all of these issues need to be thought through, current market conditions evaluated and adjustments made to fit your operation.
Join our zoom webinar to get answers to these questions and more from major international freight forwarders/specialists who are experts in the movement of products. Prepare your questions in advance related to your specific shipping and logistics requirements.
Specialists from FWO Fracht and Air-Sea Forwarders, Inc. will join us for a panel discussion and answer your questions.
Presenters:
Kevin Renteria, regional sales manager, Air-Sea Forwarders, Inc.
Estefania Gallo Prot, RDM & global procurement, Fracht FWO Inc.
Kevin Renteria - Regional Sales Manager, Domiciled in Houston, Texas, is a 24-year veteran of the international / domestic freight and logistics industry. He started in the industry, doing warehousing/logistics: loading and unloading trucks and seeing the day to day operations of the warehouse functions. He quickly rose to the ranks of International air export operations, then account manager of a multi-national company. There he spent several years managing the international, domestic, and inventory operations globally; helping his accounts reach new heights on supply chain, managing their operational KPI’s and travelling around the world helping them enhance their business globally.
After spending 12 years in operations, Mr. Renteria was promoted to an Account executive position in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He took his knowledge, skills, and drive for excellence to the sales side. Here he used his skills to bring in new business, grow existing accounts, and cross sell multiple industries.
Estefania Gallo Prot (a Swiss & Argentine Citizen) has joined the Fracht team 2 years ago as Oil & Gas Manager for Fracht Argentina. In 2019, she joined FRACHT USA’s team where she oversees US Procurement and Latin America commercial development. She is based in Buenos Aires and Miami.
Estefania has extensive experience in the logistics industry holding previous positions with shipping lines (MSC), shippers (CARGILL & COPERSUCAR BRAZIL/ALVEAN) and now freight-forwarders (The Fracht Group).
She worked +7 years at MSC’s Headquarter where she developed a deep knowledge on Ocean Freight and Intermodal activities, and +8 years at Cargill’s Trading Hub in Geneva as Container Freight Trader for the Sugar Division “Alvean” (JV between CARGILL & COPERSUCAR) where she was leading the procurement of +45K TEUS per year. She is a pro not only fluent in 5 languages but also much eager to learn & help.
Her knowledge of the supply chain and unique experience from different perspectives of logistics and supply chain makes her an unbelievably valuable and integral piece to the success of The Fracht Group on a global level.
