Description
Facing the legal challenges of returning to work
Speakers: Meghan McCaig, partner, Thompson Knight
Businesses are facing new challenges as the country begins to grapple with how to get people back to work and the economy going again when Covid-19 stay at home orders are relaxed. From dealing with completely re-opening a closed business to safely transitioning employees back to work, owners and managers could be faced with legal challenges. This presentation will address the employment aspects of the CARES Act and Families First Coronavirus Response Act, employee safety and ways to avoid employment-related liability now and in the immediate future.
