Description
"Medical device development success through lean program management"
Featuring, Dave Felio, President & CEO, The Realtime Group
The use of medical devices to provide quality healthcare is a multi-billion dollar industry around the world. And as technological advances change the way these devices can assist patients, their design and manufacture requires skill and a level of process control that must match an incomparable set of standards. In this presentation and tour of their facilities, find out how The Realtime Group works with its clients to design and produce innovative products that change our world.
About the speaker:
Dave Felio has a unique 24-year history of successfully driving the innovation process in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments. Mr. Felio began his engineering career with the Texas Instruments Defense Systems and Equipment Group, developing missile flight controls for numerous autonomously guided weapon systems. In 1997, Mr. Felio and his co-founders launched Geneva Aerospace, a multi-million dollar enterprise serving the US Navy, US Air Force, DARPA, USSOCOM and several Military Prime contractors. As President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board until 2007, he grew the company and developed an exit strategy, and ultimately sold it to L-3 Communications. To facilitate a smooth transition, he accepted an offer to remain on L-3's executive team, as President of L-3 Unmanned Systems from 2007 through 2011. In 2012, he acquired The Realtime Group, one of North Dallas' most outstanding embedded systems engineering companies. The Realtime Group has a 13-year history specializing in product development of technology-intensive control devices for regulated industries such as medical, aviation, and defense.
