The Customer Journey is now a familiar - if not foundational - element of modern marketing and customer service. But customers aren't the only entities on a Journey within the core operations of enterprises. For those of us delivering or relying upon advanced analytics to innovate or optimize business operations, the Journey model is applicable to concepts - real, and virtual - beyond customers. This presentation will look at the systems and analytical considerations for broader application of Journey mapping using real operational examples.
About the speaker:
Bryce Engelbrecht is Senior Vice President of the Data Solutions and Analytics (DSA) group for iQor, a global provider of business process outsourcing and product support services with 35,000 employees in 17 countries. He is also the General Manager of QeyMetrics, a cloud-based BI software business wholly owned by iQor. Mr. Engelbrecht began his career as a software engineer and data architect with KeyTex (later TenFold) corporation – a pioneer in metadata-driven enterprise software applications architecture – and eventually segued to executive roles with innovative technology firms serving clients in nuclear power generation, national research laboratories, retail media, and manufacturing. He graduated cum laude from the California Institute of Technology.
