Bell was the first to obtain commercial certification for a helicopter nearly 60 years ago - and since then\, has delivered thousands of innovative aircraft to customers around the world.  And now\, among its many projects\, Bell is exploring new opportunities in the future of air transportation with electric and hybrid VTOL aircraft.  Find out more about the innovative approach Bell is taking that will lead to aircraft that satisfies short distance urban operations and much more.\n\n\n\n \nMike McNair has been a technology leader in military/defense\, academic\, and commercial environments for over 30 years.  Driven to see positive enhancement in everyday life\, his most current set of activities have been in the fast-paced and emerging field of autonomous vehicles.  With an eye to the infusion of air and ground based vehicles into our daily lives\, he brings expertise from multiple domains into the solution space.  He is currently leading autonomy research and development work that will be incorporated into Bell Helicopter's future platforms.\n\n\n\nAcademically\, Mike brings a B.S. in Physics from Texas A&M University and a M.S. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University.  He has held his PMI Project Management Professional certification for 10 years.  Professionally\, he has participated in and led numerous research and engineering efforts ranging from hand-held gas detectors to satellite systems and military aircraft simulators to autonomous vehicles.  With numerous papers and speaking engagements to his credit\, he is a seasoned speaker and participant in technology discussion and technology vision venues.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Policy:\n\n\nPayment is necessary at the time of reservations. Due to catering requirements we must charge for reservations not canceled three days prior to the event.  Unclaimed reservations during the event will be relinquished at noon. Walk-in customers will be seated based on space availability.
