In his current role he is evaluating the role some of these new technologies can play in solving the transportation problems in the DFW area. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Northwestern University School of Law and served as a general counsel of transportation agencies before taking on his current role.\n\n\n\nDr. Brenda Connor- Dr. Brenda Connor has been with Ericsson since 1994 and is providing thought leadership in Smart Cities\, Intelligent Transport Systems\, IOT/M2M and Business Enablement. Connor creates new business through innovative and transformative approaches focused on diverse stakeholder needs. She provides leadership in bridging stand-alone systems into system of system architectures including cloud\, service orchestration and end-to-end policy and identity management in Web 2.0\, cloud\, and Telco 2.0 environments.\n\n\n\nJennifer Sanders- Jennifer Sanders is the cofounder and executive director of the Dallas Innovation Alliance (DIA) a public-private partnership dedicated to the design and execution of a multi-phased smart cities plan for Dallas. Jennifer brings over 12 years of expertise across a broad array of industries\, including energy\, technology\, economic development\, nonprofit and finance\, serving in functions including communications\, stakeholder and community relations\, strategic counsel and operations. She is actively involved with numerous civic organizations in Dallas\, including past president of the Mayor's Star Council\, on the Board of the Suicide & Crisis Center of North Texas\, and an Ambassador for the Dallas Entrepreneur Center (DEC)\, among others.\n\n\n\nJohn Levis- John Levis is a senior principal in Deloitte's Strategy & Innovation consulting practice with a focus on developing growth and innovation strategies for companies typically in technology\, media and telecommunication. He is also the firm's industry leader for Smart Cities and IoT initiatives. Prior to these roles\, John served as the global Chief Innovation Officer for Deloitte and as the Regional Managing Director for Deloitte's business for North and South America. Prior to that\, John served in progressive leadership positions throughout the Deloitte U.S. firm. Admitted into the Deloitte partnership in June 1997\, Levis has served member firms' largest technology\, media\, and telecommunications (TMT) clients.\n\n\n\nJori Mendel- Jori Mendel manages strategic alliances for the Smart Cities Organization at AT&T. Jori is responsible for fostering relationships with key partners in the public and private sectors\, developing Go-to-Market strategies for the organization and working with the sustainability team to develop a cohesive smart cities strategy. Previously Jori served as Director of Advertising for AT&T U-verse\, and led a team responsible for the development and execution of AT&T Digital Life's marketing communications strategy globally. Before joining AT&T in 2011\, Jori worked in corporate responsibility and communications. Passionate about driving change in her community\, Jori launched the now award winning SEER (Social Environmental Ethical Responsibility) at Pepperdine University.
