DESCRIPTION:Join us for the next Innovation Team Luncheon Event\n\n	hosted by the University of Texas at Dallas' new Edith O'Donnell Arts and Technology center.\n\n	\n\n	ATEC Director Dr. Tom Linehan will be our "Next Big Thing" speaker discussing the Arts and Technology (ATEC) program at the University of Texas at Dallas and will lead a tour of this brand new facility following the program discussion.\n\n	ATEC merges the innovation processes of artists\, scientists and engineers and explores their experimental models through new technologies. It augments the study of the arts and humanities by engagement with the research tools\, measures and practices of the sciences and technology.\n\n	\n\n	ATEC offers degree programs from the BA through the Ph.D. that prepare more than 1\,100 students to achieve in fields of e-culture design\, research and development.\n\n	A complementary major Emerging Media and Communication focuses on the uses\, impact and implications of digital technology for communication\, culture and commerce.

LOCATION:UT Dallas Edith O'Donnell Arts and Technology Center Take University Drive Entrance from 800 W. Campbell Road\, Richardson. Edith O'Donnell ATC building is located on the NW corner of Drive A at Drive F On campus map ATC G-8 Parking Instructions: Enter UT Campus from W. Campbell Road. We will email everyone who registers\, a non-transferrable visitors pass which you must display in your vehicle. With your visitors pass\, park FREE in Green or Visitor lots closest to ATC: Lot D or Lot C south of Lookout Drive. After parking\, walk on Drive A or Drive G to corner of Drive F (ATC building). OR if you wish to pay to park in metered space\, you may park in Lot M West\, south of the School of Management or in Parking Structure 1 which is located on NE corner of Drive A at Drive G. Charge is $2 for 1st hour and $1 for subsequent hours - payable ONLY BY CREDIT or DEBIT CARD. PLEASE ALLOW SUFFICIENT TIME TO PARK and WALK to ATC building as we will start lunch promptly at 11:30 and the program at 12 noon. MAP
