DESCRIPTION:Our Advocacy Team will feature speaker Stefanie Holland\, Director of International Government and Regulatory Affairs at CompTIA\, to discuss the impact that the new tariffs and other federal policies will have on businesses in the technology industry. \n\n\n\nSpeaker: Stefanie Holland\, Director of International Government and Regulatory Affairs at CompTIA\n\nTopic: Tariffs and the impacts of international trade policy\n\n\n\nStefanie Holland is the Director of International Government and Regulatory Affairs for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Stefanie is responsible for the development\, advocacy\, and implementation of CompTIA's policy positions with respect to international trade and the global digital economy. She works with CompTIA member companies to identify and manage trade issues in the U.S.\, China\, India\, the UK and other markets. Stefanie is an Executive Committee member of the United States Information Technology Office (USITO)\, representing CompTIA in his capacity.  She also represents CompTIA members at multilateral and international institutions.\n\n\n\nPrior to CompTIA\, Stefanie was the Director for International Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. While at the Chamber from 2007-2016\, Stefanie worked on successful campaigns to win congressional passage of trade agreements and played a key role in the Chamber's international business priorities and promoting the Chamber's international trade agenda including Trade Promotion Authority (TPA)\, reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank\, among others. Prior to joining the Chamber\, Stefanie worked at Barbour Griffith & Rogers (BGR)\, in its international practice. \n\n\n\nStefanie served as President for the organization Women in International Trade (WIIT) from 2015-2016 and previously served on its Board of Directors and as co-chair for its Legislative Initiatives Committee. She holds a Masters of Arts in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from St. Norbert College in DePere\, WI.
